The Power Design Course is for Designers who require guidance in Placing and Routing Power Boards. Today, Battery Power Boards are in high demand requiring copper weights of greater than the normal 1 or 2oz that we are all used to, and this presents Designers a completely different set of problems to overcome. We believe in a HANDS-ON personal approach, so our courses are presented by experienced dedicated Tutors.
The course is presented using the latest leading PCB Designer Software. Even though the course is presented using Altium Designer the course is still suitable for Students who work on any of the other PCB Design packages worldwide, as the principles we teach, and believe in, apply across all platforms. We are teaching the ART of PCB Design not how to use a specific software make.
Following on from the Foundation Course, the Power Routing course takes its DNA heritage and provides the guidelines and standards that give stability and reliability going forward into a Power Design environment. Designed for those with Electronic Knowledge who need to learn the skills and gain the confidence necessary to Design Power PCB Designs. The course is also suitable for Electronic Graduates, Laboratory Technicians and Electronic Engineers who now find themselves required to Layout PCB Designs for their employers.
